Ghana Operations Manager
Bright is a project management professional with good experience in implementing social impact projects, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. Bright joined Aqua Africa in September 2019 to manage operations for the first project in Ghana to provide community-based potable water infrastructure, alleviating Ghanaians from the plight of daily water poverty.
With a Post-graduate diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast, a Master’s Degree in Development Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and a degree in Agricultural Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Bright has worked with a number of multinational organisations including World Vision, the Varkey Foundation and with donor agencies like Dubai Cares, USAID and the Conrad Hilton Foundation.
Bright has successfully managed and implemented multimillion-dollar projects in Ghana in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service at the National, Regional, Metro/Municipal and District levels.
Bright’s most recent engagement was with the Varkey Foundation where he managed two projects concurrently and engaged service providers in the procurement and supply of solar power, internet service and the installation of high-tech interactive online broadcast infrastructure in 40 selected Colleges of Education across the 16 regions of Ghana to train over 20,000 education managers in Ghana.
