Sam’s professional career to date has been engaged in finance & investments; working at US & UK investment banks, before becoming co-founder of a leading alternative investment advisory firm in 1994. Now with 11 offices globally, the firm currently has more than 280 corporate clients with over $550 billion invested in alternative assets, making it the largest firm of its kind in the industry.
The firm advises some of the most prestigious & sophisticated institutional investors in the world, including public & corporate pension plans, foundations & endowments, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, private banks and wealth managers, as well as family offices, and has twice been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2006 & 2009. Born in Nigeria, Sam is a member of The Securities Institute and the Institute of Banking & Finance. He has a keen interest in the areas of philanthropy and social impact investment.
